The company, who are based in the West Midlands, decided to invest in the PAS 2030 standard with a view to growing their business and demonstrate their commitment to quality and efficiency.
Why did Ecoficient Homes decide to gain the PAS 2030 standard?
Having previously worked in the industry as a surveyor, Managing Director of Ecoficient Homes, Amjad Khan, took the decision to further invest in the business with a view to growing his team and subcontractor supply chain.
Commenting on the decision to gain the PAS 2030 standard, Amjad said, ‘As the renewable energy sector continues to grow in the UK and the race to net-zero, it was essential for us as a business to access funding for the Eco 4 UK government scheme. The scheme aims to improve energy efficiency in homes, reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty therefore it was key to our future growth strategy.
Having been referred to Brighter Compliance, we spoke with Compliance Consultant, David Stobbs, who gave us complete confidence in their process and support they could provide.’
The process
Discussing how the process worked, Amjad continued, ‘As a small business, the PAS 2030 process can certainly be daunting, however, with David’s support, he walked us through everything and took care of a lot of the stress.
Any questions or queries we had leading up to our audit were answered quickly and everything was explained clearly. Using the Green Hub system ensured all of our documentation was in place prior to our audit, David also provided a great training session on the system to ensure we were fully up to speed on the software and how it can support us in the longer term.’
The outcome
Following their recent audit, Ecoficient Homes were successful in gaining the PAS 2030 certification with zero non-conformances.
