Why did Re:Gen Solutions initially decide to invest in the PAS 2030 standard?
As the business looked to increase their service offering, they were approached by several clients who required PAS 2030 funded works.
The standard, which is mandatory for various government-funded projects and is important for decarbonising the built environment and achieving net zero targets, outlines how to install energy efficiency measures in existing buildings.
Speaking with Re:Gen Solutions’ Managing Director, Anthony Wade, he knew that the standard was something which would demonstrate their commitment to the industry, commenting, ‘As a result of client driven demand, we started to investigate the PAS 2030 standard and how this would support our future growth plans for the business.
With many government and public sector contract opportunities throughout the North of England, the investment in gaining the PAS 2030 standard was something that would enhance our credibility and streamline our processes, taking this proactive approach would ensure we were well placed to tender for future projects.
The Process
Having already worked with the Brighter Compliance team within the wider Re:Gen group, it was a natural progression for them to support the business with their PAS 2030 certification.
Supporting with documentation preparation, measures, installation processes and health and safety policies, Brighter Compliance ensured the team were prepared and ready when it came to their one-day recertification audit.
Anthony continued, ‘Having had the PAS 2030 certification now for one year, we felt thoroughly supported and guided by Brighter Compliance in the lead up to our audit day, however, the day can still be a daunting process.
Following their assistance with our initial application, as our company has grown and new management structures have been put in place, we were delighted they could support on our recertification.
They were in attendance throughout the audit process and on hand to answer any queries throughout the day.’
The Outcome
With a future pipeline of PAS 2030 funded works, the success of the recertification audit will ensure the organisation’s long-term growth plans.
