Asset Integrity Scotland achieve PAS 2030 certification
Introduction
As leading experts of retrofit insulation installations within residential and commercial property, Asset Integrity Scotland are also members of the National Insulation Association and aim to continually raise standards across the industry.
The company, who specialise in improving homes via loft, underfloor and internal wall insulation together with a range of maintenance and repair services, also have vast experience with commercial maintenance contracts.
Why did Asset Integrity Scotland decide to invest in the PAS 2030 standard?
Working with contractors, government bodies and architects across Scotland, the company were aware that to tender for larger contracts and increase their scope of works, the PAS 2030 standard would be of huge benefit.
We chatted with Director of the business, Darren Simpson, to find out more about their decision, ‘With over 20 years’ experience within the property industry, it’s important for our business to constantly evolve to changing legislation and upgrades with regards to sustainability and home improvements.
We were aware of the PAS 2030 standard and having investigated this further, decided it would provide our business with further opportunities within our industry and align with our values of creating warmer homes and reducing fuel poverty within Scotland.’
The Process
Darren continued, ‘Following a recommendation, we initially spoke with Brighter’s Compliance Consultant, David Stobbs, his passion and motivation for the sector was immediately obvious which gave us the reassurance that Brighter could support us through the process.
David worked closely with our team, ensuring we had all relevant documentation and processes in place leading up to our one day audit. We found that the support was continually there which really put our minds at ease, the Brighter team were always at the end of the phone to answer any queries and got back to us quickly with answers to any questions we had.’

The Outcome
With a successful PAS 2030 audit taking place, Asset Integrity Scotland will now have further opportunities within the retrofit and home improvement sector and look forward to tendering for future government contracts.
